Biography
Shu-Chuan Jennifer Yeh is a professor in the Department of Business Management. Dr. Yeh, who specializes in health care management, has been on the faculties of the National Sun Yat-sen University and National Yang-Ming University .
Dr. Yeh has been a principal investigator in several research projects, including studies of long-term care organization and quality issues, the effects of new health policy on quality and physician satisfaction. She is also examining issues of strategic alliance among long-term care facilities. She has experience in handling multi-year grants from the National Science of Council. Her research team examined perceived organizational support influences on multi-dimensional aspects of health care outcomes among migrant workers from four different countries. More recently, she received a four-million grant for a “3D” study to examine the relationship among personality, social support, depression, dementia, and quality of life for ESRD patients in Taiwan . She has published widely in numerous journals including JAMA, Psychosomatic Medicine, Health Policy , Health Care Management Review, BMC-Health Services Research, Social Behavior and Personality, Sex and Roles, Journal of Rehabilitation Research and Development, Annals of Operations Research, Journal of Advanced Nursing, Journal of Nursing Administration, and Journal of Nursing Care Quality. Dr. Yeh received her Ph.D. in Health Services Organization and Research, from Virginia Commonwealth University , Virginia , USA.
