Biography

Dr. Stephen Dun-Hou Tsai received his Ph.D. from National Cheng-chi University Taiwan and is currently a full professor at National Sun Yat-Sen University (NSYSU) in the Business Administration Department. He is in charge in the Training and educational Center which is sponsored by Minister of Economy and offers on-job training courses for Taiwanese S.M.E. companies. He has dedicated his efforts in studying Entrepreneurship, Knowledge Management and Organizational Change and has made quite a few publications in Chinese and English. These works has been published in Organization Studies, Industrial Management & Data Systems , EmergenceComplexity and Organization,Journal of Management (In Chinese)Journal of entrepreneurship research (In Chinese) etc.

Professor Stephen Dun-Hou Tsai is very experienced in university administration as well as in academy. He has been the director of Business Administration Dep., the director of the Institute of Communication Management, the Dean of Management College and the Secretary General to the President of NSYSU. For academic experience, he has invited as a visiting scholar by the Stanford University and the University of Cambridge. Recently received honor as the NSYSU's Faculty Award for outstanding teaching and academic services. 

Currently, Dr. Stephen Dun-Hou Tsai has tried to develop research from distinct mode of thinking and invite narrative think way to proceed. By focusing on discourse, story as well as life-story he tries to contribute more fruitful, insightful implications regarding his major research topics (which are: Entrepreneurship, Knowledge Management and Organizational Change) to the academic society. And recently he dedicates more efforts on Entrepreneurial research by looking at Entrepreneur’s life-story to explore topics regarding entrepreneur’s identity and entrepreneurial learning.
